We start our next Whole 30 this week. Visit Whole30.com to learn all about this ‘cleanse’ but in a very broad nutshell, for the next 30 days, we’ll cut dairy, added sugar, grains, legumes and alcohol out of our diet. There is a method to the madness but basically, once the 30 days is up, you reintroduce each food group and see how it makes you feel to see if you should be incorporating that group into your every day diet. We did not properly do the reintroduction phase last time and we’re going to try really hard to do it this time!
Breakfast – smoothie made with frozen fruit, raw almond butter, kale and water, Skinny Sausages made with ground turkey and hard boiled eggs
- Zucchini pasta with meat sauce made with ground beef and a sauce made with crushed tomatoes and various Italian seasonings
- White Chicken Chili
- Salisbury Steak with homemade cream of mushroom soup and mashed cauliflower
- Baked Spaghetti
- Shrimp with Garlic and Artichokes and roasted carrots
